Marie Hakimi

Marie Hakimi is a doctoral student in geochemistry at the University of Bern. Born in Afghanistan and raised in France, she speaks French, English, Dari, Pashto, and German.

Her personal experience with endometriosis inspires her commitment to accessible, reliable women’s health information.

She brings a scientific perspective and multicultural background to the project, helping reach Afghan women in Dari and Pashto and break taboos around women’s health.
