
Waheda Hosseini
Education Team Member & Volunteer Instructor
Waheda is a computer science student, educator, and social advocate from Afghanistan, currently based in Switzerland. She studied Computer Science at Kabul Polytechnic University and previously worked at Toncast. She was also a member of the Afghanistan Women’s National Cycling Team, representing her country in several competitions.
After migrating to Switzerland, Waheda continued her education and is currently studying Computer Science at HEIG-VD while remaining active in sports and community initiatives.
Inspired by the importance of education and the work of Wajma in supporting Afghan women and girls, Waheda began creating educational content and organizing learning opportunities for girls who have been denied access to education.
As a member of Humanity Network for Women, she contributes to the organization’s education programs by voluntarily teaching and supporting learners and helping create pathways for Afghan girls to continue their learning.
